The Golf Club Murau-Kreischberg features an 18-hole, Par 72 championship course designed by Diethard Fahrenleitner and Barbara Eisserer, opened in 2007. Located between the Kreischberg ski area and historic Murau town, this generously planned course showcases distinctive wooden design elements including wooden palisades bordering ponds, greens, and bunkers. The 6,002-meter course (from yellow tees) features undulating greens, lateral and frontal water hazards, and spectacular half and island greens that have become signature elements.
The mountain-style course offers flat terrain with strategic water hazards, providing moderate to challenging play for golfers of all abilities with a handicap limit of 54. Practice facilities include a driving range with 20 tees (5 covered), putting green, pitching green etc.
